Family Culture in Asia
Family is extremely important in the Asian culture, with families maintaining a strong bond even after children are grown. This deep sense of family is intensified by the fact that children, when the grow up, rarely move very far from the location of their family, and generations of a single family often live in very close proximity, even in the same house. As a result, Asians have a deep respect for their elders as well as for family in general. Family and Social Values in Asia Family members are raised to have great respect, not only for those in their own families but also for others as well. These organizations can take on many different forms, such as a church group or a number of people involved in the same kind of activities. These culture organizations can go a long way towards helping to strengthen traditions, while at the same time allowing growth by helping to integrate new situations and environments with a person’s traditional culture.
